Misuse of Jokers

Jokers can only be used for matches of 3+ IDENTICAL tiles. This means:

• Jokers cannot be used for individual tiles
• Jokers cannot be used in 2021, 2022, 2023, and similar combos
• Jokers cannot be used to complete a pair
• A pair of jokers cannot be used as a pair

Please note that, in Marvelous Mahjong, jokers can be used as an A, or "any tile", and a pair of jokers can be used as AA, or "any pair", however you cannot mix a joker and another tile for an "any pair".

Concealed Hand Confusion

If you hand is labeled as concealed on your card, you cannot have any exposures prior to declaring mahjong.

• You can, however, claim a tile for Mahjong (but you may not claim any tiles prior to declaring Mahjong).
